For my family, Trader Joe’s seems to be popular spot for purchasing backpacking food. My youngest really likes the mango slices and chia bars. The older two love to snack on salmon jerky and sugar snap peas as they hike.
Or main backpacking items:
- Inner Peas (crunchy dehydrated peas)
- Trek Mix (almonds, chocolate and cashews) multi-packs
- Dried Orange slices
- Mango slices
- King Salmon Jerky
- Trader Joe’s Instant Oatmeal
- PB & J Bars (they eat these for lunch)
- Chewy Granola Bar
- Chia Bar
- Fruit Cereal bars (this “apple walks into a bar”)
